Yay. It the end of the week. I can’t believe how fast this week has gone. It was such a tiring week for me. I should do something or go somewhere this weekend. Let’s see what we have in store for us.
About Radish Sambar Recipe (Mullangi Sambar)
Now moving back to the recipe. Radish was one of the most hated vegetable of mine before marriage. But after marriage I started to pick few radishes when I was visiting market. Radishes are not only cheap, it is packed with lots of minerals. Mainly it is good for people who are in diet, radishes helps in losing weight. So what I make with that, someday I make this Radish paratha, but most of the time it will this yummy sambar. Ingredients for Radish Sambar Recipe
Channa Dal / Kadala Paruppu - 1 cup Radish - 1 large chopped Shallots / Sambar Onion - 6 Green Chilli - 2 slit Oil - 3 tbsp Mustard Seeds / kaduku - 1 tsp Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam - 1 tsp Asafoetida / Hing - ¼ tsp Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi -1 tsp Coriander powder / Malli Podi - 2 tbsp Chilli Powder - 2 tsp Tamarind Pulp - 2 tbsp Salt to taste Jaggery - to taste Coriander Leaves / Cilantro a handful
